Springclean, a nonprofit boutique dedicated to reducing waste, has moved to Camp North End, operating from 270 Camp Road. It is scheduled to move again this spring to a ground-floor space at Kinship, a new apartment building at Camp North End.
Founder and owner CT Anderson, who has more than two decades of experience in the sustainability field, described herself as a fashion lover.
“Those things sometimes can be in conflict,” Anderson said, noting that Springclean specializes in recycling fashion items. She founded the organization in 2019.
Anderson said she was inspired, in part, by a Circular Charlotte study, which advocates for recycling practices that would make Charlotte a “zero waste city” with a “circular economy.”
