Xander Kent

Bees have led Xander through life. Despite a lifelong fear, he sought to acquaint himself with bees while in the Peace Corps (2011-2013) where he discovered the joy of bees and teaching people to keep bees in Gambia and Senegal.  He has carried the passion of bees through his grad school education at Duke (MEM/MBA) where he founded a bee club and a 5yr career at Amazon where he has managed Packaging Sustainability as a Product Manager and built PL statement as a Finance Manager for the Alexa business. Xander is now the Senior Manager for Restricted Products at Amazon where he owns the offensive content moderation team, legal compliance team, and environmental compliance team.
 
Bees have taught Xander the connectedness of systems. The lessons bees teach are at the core of Springclean's dedication for people to adopt a circular economy… just like the bees in Xander's bee farm.
